About Us
Anatole Relief Fund Inc. (ARFI), established in February 2023, is an American, non-religious and non-denominational, civic-minded, open-to-all institution that encourages diverse cultures and traditions within its organization and shall be non-discriminatory in its aid efforts. ARFI is organized exclusively for the benevolent, not-for-profit public good to provide aid and support to emerging and/or ongoing natural and human-made disaster purposes under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Anatole Relief Fund is to contribute aid and support to communities first locally in Bloomington, Indiana, the US, and worldwide. Towards this end, ARFI will:
- Identify emerging and/or ongoing needs for relief efforts locally and globally,
raise awareness to emerging and ongoing natural and humanmade disasters, - Organize activities and raise funds within its goals, lead its community in relief efforts, and form partnerships and collaborate with other similar disaster relief agencies,
- Engage directly in relief help and/or provide help to and support agencies in partnership,
- Encourage collaborations, under such special circumstances, among diverse cultures, ethnic groups, and different identities throughout its aid activities, thus promoting peace,
- Organize and train its members in immediate disaster relief response through partnerships with relevant professional agencies,
respect diversity, human dignity, and promote equality with respect to ethnicity, race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation within the organization and its outreach aid efforts. - Make community service an integral part of the Anatole Relief Fund. ARFI shall develop nurturing ties with various diverse local communities across the country.
